Join us for a one-hour session exploring how quantum mechanics and quantum computing are transforming artistic expression. Berlin-based artist Roman Lipski shares his journey from classical painting to quantum-powered creativity, featuring his latest video artwork Quantum Babylon, created with the technique Quantum Blur.
The highlight: a live demo of the Quantum Brush, an open-source painting tool developed by Moth Quantum that maps brushstrokes to quantum algorithms. Executed on IQM’s Sirius quantum processor, this tool reveals how quantum effects can shape new aesthetics.
Moderated by Marilena Longobardi (NCCR Spin Basel), the session concludes with a panel and Q&A on the intersection of art, science, and ethics in the quantum age.
