What is the vision you are pursuing with your startup?
The vision for Aires Applied Technology is to provide a solution to current encryption technology to safeguard against quantum decryption in a very practical manner. We want to develop very simple solutions, and then democratize them, provide solutions for everyone to safeguard against a future threats coming from quantum computers.
What are you taking home from the BERLIN QUANTUM Pioneer?
This week has been very enlightening for all of us. My team here, we've learned a lot from the industry experts in Berlin, and we've made a lot of friends here. Meeting with the other startups has really helped us to understand the startup ecosystem better. So, it's been really good.
Why is Berlin interesting for you?
My purpose this time is to explore Europe as a market. We think that Europe is up and coming, it's actually ahead in quantum technology. And the companies have a good understanding of quantum. Europe is definitely the market to be in. And why Berlin in particular? We looked at some other European countries. But in Berlin, there's a team that's specifically focused on quantum, and that's the business we're in. And of course the whole ecosystem here is something that we are definitely excited about with the support of all the stakeholders here.
