The German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) is launching the QC Next initiative to support the development of a modular software stack for quantum computing. At its core is a flagship project starting in December 2025, which will define a reference architecture with open interfaces.
Now open for applications: This call invites complementary satellite projects that will validate the reference architecture through real-world industrial use cases and enrich it with additional software components and methodological approaches. The goal is to systematically develop quantum computing solutions, integrate them into existing processes, and unlock new value creation opportunities for businesses.
